Lindsey Moss is an artist and educator based in rural Northern Illinois. She learned the traditional art of batik from her mother, who spent part of her childhood in Indonesia. This early exposure fostered a lifelong dedication to tactile, hands-on craft.

For over twenty years, she has worked as an elementary art teacher, nurturing the next generation of creators while simultaneously being inspired by them.

Alongside her teaching career, she is developing her own studio practice, merging batik with interactive, conceptual collage.
